We came to the hills of Southwestern Pennsylvania in 2008 with a goal of purchasing a homestead with some acreage and having a sustainable farm. We wanted to be very sure of the humane conditions and health of the animals who produced all the products we eat. The result is a couple acres backed by forest close enough to city jobs but able to house goats, chickens, and in the future, bees. We currently obtain all our milk, eggs, and honey from our farm and our neighbor's farm. 2015 is our third year raising Nigerian Dwarf goats, and our sixth year raising pure breeds of bantam chickens.
We have also had a long love of goats, sheep, and other herd animals. We breed for health, temperament, and dairy qualities, while keeping a very small, select herd. We had our first Linear Appraisal through ADGA July 2015. Results on our adult goats are either listed or available..

Our herd tested negative negative for CAE, CL, Johne's (TB and Brucellosis on a few too)  Apr 2014- Apr 2021 through WADDL and Texas A & M and therafter all incoming bucks have tested negative for CAE, CL & Johnes, and thereafter yearly All adult does are tested Negative for CAE yearly.
We bring in new stock only from a few select, annually-clean-tested herds.
